On The Green Festival, a micro festival of all the things we are so passionate about here at the Whistler On The Green, so once a year we take it outdoor to our huge front garden, at the corner of Saltmarket & Greendyke Street on Glasgow Green. Now in its second year, it's a chance for families of all ages to enjoy all of these things, right here in the heart of Glasgow. This year we are taking things up a level with the introduction of a main stage big enough for live bands and DJ's, local and from further afield, to get the party going.
FUNK & SOUL SATURDAY! - Get ready for smooth grooves and funky beats, as Craig Charles headlines alongside native New Yorkers, Odyssey, DJ Format and a host of Scottish funk & soul legends!
HERE WE RODEO, SUNDAY! - It’s a full-on country takeover as One Night In Nashville descend the Green alongside Glasgow’s Johnny Mac & The Faithful, Kevin Mcguire and more to create lasting memories on Greendyke Street.
When it comes to food, we take things just as serious and we will reveal shortly what friends will be bringing their kitchens along to the Green to entertain your taste buds just as much as your ears. 'On The Green' Festival is for everyone. Mum, dad, friends and the kids. You can even bring your dog!
