With her beautiful voice, peerless lyrics and sparkling live sets it’s no wonder New York-based singer/songwriter, Laura Cantrell is always a welcome visitor to Scotland.

And she’s back for a seated show at the ABC1 in Glasgow on Sunday, May 8 when her 2000 debut album, Not The Tremblin’ Kind will be re-issued by city-based Spit & Polish records.

The record – she’s released five more since then including 2014’s No Way There From Here – was lavishly praised with possibly the most vigorous support coming from the late, legendary DJ, John Peel who wrote of it: “… my favourite record of the last ten years and possibly my life".

She has juggled life as a Wall Street Banker, mother, radio presenter and performer and her appeal has not faded.

Her 2013 Glasgow Americana appearance sold out well in advance, so we expect Laura’s latest visit here will attract a lot of attention.
