Gorilla Biscuits is a New York City hardcore punk band, formed in 1986 from high school friendships on Long Island. Known for their fast, melodic straight-edge style, they released the classic EP “Gorilla Biscuits” (1988) and their landmark full-length album “Start Today” (1989). Popular tracks include “New Direction,” “Start Today,” “Stand Still,” “Degradation” and “High Hopes.” There’s no new album since 1989; they continue touring and remain iconic in the youth-crew hardcore scene. They’ve achieved enduring underground influence and strong fan loyalty.
