I Promised The World are a Texas-based metalcore band whose latest self-titled EP leans heavily into the revival of mid-2000s melodic metalcore and post-hardcore. Blending crushing breakdowns, technical guitar work and aggressive screams with soaring clean vocals and emo-infused melodies, the band channels the spirit of the MySpace-era scene while delivering a polished modern sound. Their latest release showcases a mix of metalcore, post-hardcore, screamo and emo, drawing comparisons to genre staples such as Saosin, Underoath and Misery Signals.
