Scott has been the main songwriter, producer and vocalist of Pearlfishers since their inception in Falkirk, Scotland in the early 90’s. As well as being a member and songwriting collaborator with Bellshill’s very own BMX Bandits, he has produced recordings and played with a wide range of artists including Amy Allison, Big Star songwriting legend, Alex Chilton Yeon Gene Wang, Ricky Ross of Deacon Blue,[3] Maher Shalal Hash Baz and Bill Wells.
Scott’s most current album, Making Tapes for Girls (released May 24, 2024 on Marina records) is quite simply “ a work of art)
David will be joined by very special guest Kidd.
Stuart Kidd is a self-proclaimed cupboard-pop pioneer and an ever present in the Scottish music scene since 2002 contributing to somewhere in the region of 60 albums as a drummer, guitarist, bass player and vocalist. Euros Childs, Gulp, The BMX Bandits, The Pearlfishers, Jonny, Linden and St Deluxe, Teenage Fanclub are but a few groups who have enlisted his duties on their records as well as out on the road.
