Wha’s Like Us 2 will again showcase the very best of Scottish Prog, joined by a special guest (to be announced).
Marley Davidson is a singer-songwriter based in Dundee and the co-organisers are honoured that he will be opening the festival. Marley combines ethereally beautiful vocals and lushly melodic compositions on the keyboards with meticulously crafted lyrics of deep emotional honesty and resonance, inviting comparisons both with That Joe Payne and Peter Jones.

Aberdeen’s award-winning Snake Temple Kings refreshingly blend prog complexity with a hard rock edge and psychedelic tinge, virtuoso flute thrown in for good measure.

Scarlet INside is Kevin Kennie’s experimental multi-genre prog band whose music defies easy categorisation and is characterised by multiple layers of texture building into a richly melodic, immersive and atmospheric soundscape. This will be one of Kevin’s rare live appearances and as such particularly special.

Following last year’s superb performance, the co-organisers are delighted to welcome Long Earth back to Wha’s 2. Their eagerly anticipated fourth album, the first to feature vocalist Maaike Siegerist, is due to be released prior to the festival. Captivating melodies join forces with killer riffs and thoughtful, compelling lyrics to put audiences under their spell.

Comedy of Errors performed live for the first time in May 1984 and are one of Scotland’s best-loved and most venerated prog bands who – with six critically acclaimed albums to their name and a seventh scheduled for release in 2026 – have made an outstanding contribution to the genre. Having graced the stage at major festivals across the globe, including Rosfest, Loreley, Terra Incognita, the Cambridge Rock Festival and the Nene Valley Rock Festival, the co-organisers are delighted to welcome them back for Wha’s 2 after their brilliant performance in 2025, which earned them a standing ovation.

Special Guest: John Young (solo set)
The co-organisers are thrilled to announce our first special guest from outside Scotland for Wha’s 2. The incredibly talented and versatile keyboardist and singer John Young has toured the world with Uli Jon Roth and Bonnie Tyler, and has worked with a stellar array of artists from Jon Anderson, The Scorpions, Asia to Fish (with whom he co-wrote the Fellini Days album). John also fronts Lifesigns, who are touring in the UK and Europe in 2026, as well as appearing at Cruise to the Edge.
