Glasgow Americana: Harry Bird (Full Band Show)
SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER 2026
Doors 2.30pm - Show Starts 3.00pm
Harry Bird is a modern day troubadour with a knack for storytelling, “genius songwriting” (RnR Magazine) and a voice that has captivated audiences all over Europe and beyond.
Drawing on British folk, Americana and other world music genres, his lyrically charged performances are a freewheeling cabaret of finely crafted songs and good humour.
An experienced circus and theatre musician, his compositions have featured on stage and on screen, most recently in Damian McCarthy’s horror films “Oddity” and “Hokum”.
2026 sees him release his fifth studio album, “Absurditties”.
His band includes Scottish-Australian bluegrass maestros Pepita Emmerichs and Theodore Barnard (Rain of Animals / Good Guy Hank) along with powerhouse Scottish songwriters Gavin McGinty (GAVIN / Sinderins) and Chris Bradley (Aberfeldy).
Original, entertaining and thought-provoking, his energetic, feel-good shows are not to be missed.
