London's Black Midi make an otherworldly noise that spans wonky post-punk, funk and math rock, leaving no gap unfilled or un-weird. Their exceptional debut album Schlagenheim was nominated for the Mercury Prize and they bring it to Edinburgh for the first time in February.
A young math-noise group from south London who the NME have already hailed as "the best band in London". They created a huge buzz with their live shows before even putting any music online.
"Black Midi showed their audience why they’re one of the buzziest bands on the underground scene right now. A post-punk/math rock band so brilliantly chaotic that they’re almost literally unreal" - Gigwise
