ESPERANZA
Esperanza are a nine-piece ska collective from Glasgow, famed for live shows where their infectious rhythm has the crowd involuntarily jumping in time. In several hectic years of gigging around the UK, they have honed and perfected a high-tempo set, with superb self-penned songs, until there isn't an ounce of fat left on it.The quality of the band’s live shows has led to them being increasingly in demand: playing at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony; festivals up and down the country; and supporting some of the biggest names in ska, punk and reggae, including Toots and the Maytals, The Skatalites, The Wailers; Bad Manners, The Beat, The Selecter, Neville Staple, The Undertones, Fishbone and The Toasters.
BOMBSKARE
Bombskare is a live music institution that has been tearing up stages and speed limits since back in the before-time of the1990s and is the answer to the question, what would happen if you exposed a ska band to gamma radiation? Combining a DIY punk ethic and big band showmanship, their live shows are the stuff of legend. Whether you call it ska or Scottish Death Reggae, nobody does it better.
BIG FAT PANDA
Big Fat Panda have been around the ska scene for over a decade plus years . An 8 piece energetic band , a crowd pleaser . We do mostly our own songs with a couple of surprise covers thrown into the mix . Bringing our own style of offbeat fun to the stage . Come have a bounce with us.
THE VANDAL
The Vandal has performed at events across Scotland, such as Belladrum Festival (Seedlings Stage headliner 2022), Jocktoberfest, Endofest, Woodzstock and BFest whilst sharing stages with the likes of Callum Beattie, Black Grape and Goldie Lookin Chain.
