Anda Union's UK tour in 2016
The band played Rich Mix, London (Thu 11 Feb 2016) and sold out - the show only went on sale about a month prior!
They also sold out at Glasgow's Celtic Connections Festival (Fri 29 Jan 2016).
We collected reports from bookers and venues for Arts Council England and Creative Scotland as part of their funding arrangements ... here are some typical samples from these reports ...
The Sage Gateshead
"The audience were very animated and vocal in their appreciation of a truly wonderful show."
Hull Truck Theatre
"The audience was mesmerised by the concert, positive comments about the high standard of musicianship, dynamic, varied show and overall warmth and communication from band." (independent promoter).
Eden Court Theatre, Inverness
"... over the years I have seen many groups perform at Eden court, but I can honestly say that I have never been to an event like AndaUnion's. They outclassed every other act I have seen with a performance that was incredibly layered, powerful and very touching."(audience member, email to theatre)
Nest Collective, London
"We have not collective individual feedback but have had an unusual amount of positive feedback from people and continue to be asked about when Anda Union will be returning to UK. Many have said the show was one of the most inspiring, incredible shows they remember seeing and would recommend to friends when they are next in the UK. In fact most people I spoke to after the show were already planning on seeing them again which is quite rare."
