Saltburn’s finest songsmith Alex Ellis (Our Man In The Field) launches his new album “Gold On The Horizon” on Decor Records at The Glad Cafe . With his full band that includes Henry Senior (pedal steel, dobro), Greg Bishop (drums, harmonies), Raul Biancardi (synth) and Luke Ydstie (bass) they’ll be playing a winning combination of indie-folk and Americana with significant soulful country vibes akin to the likes of Ray LaMontagne, Damien Rice and Lambchop.

OMITF move up to a new level with ‘Gold On The Horizon’ & songs that range from the raw and barren ‘Come Back To Me’ – which showcases Ellis’ soulful vocal harmonies and a sparse arrangement of acoustic guitar and pedal steel – to the spacious mirror ball slow-dance of ‘Go Easy’, and the full, desert noir feel that runs throughout the album.
