Australian rockers Grinderman are to release their second album later this year.
Nick Cave began life as an unhinged psychobilly icon in The Birthday Party. However in recent years the singer has become more of a crooner, preferring to record gentle odes than lusty rockers.
Forming Grinderman with some close associates, Nick Cave decided to rock out. Tracks such as 'No Pussy Blues' made it clear where he was coming from - depraved rock 'n' roll, straight out of the Sun Studios.
Raw and unhinged, Grinderman's self-titled debut album was the singer's most straight ahead effort in years. The tracks had little hidden meaning, with Nick Cave prowling the stage at live shows as if in some demented trance.
