A: The Last Dance is taking place in Stirling’s City Park Dumbarton Rd, Stirling FK8 3AB (at the foot of Stirling Castle)......
Q: I HAVE A WEEKEND CAMPING TICKET, WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR FRIDAY?
A: The campsite will open at 10am on Friday 17th August until 12noon on Sunday 19th August.
There will be a Ceilidh on Friday night, gates open at 7pm, however only those with weekend camping tickets will be permitted.
WEEKEND CAMPING TICKETS
We are pleased to advise that the Friday night Ceilidh will go ahead as planned in the campsite on the Friday night for all those who bought weekend camping tickets.
To aid traffic management on the Friday, with the announcement of the extra show, the Campsite will now open at 10am on Friday 17th August..........
Q: WHAT TIME DOES THE LAST DANCE FINISH?
A: It is anticipated that the shows on both Friday 17th August and Saturday 18th August will finish at approximately 11pm.......
Q: I HAVE LOST MY TICKET, WHAT CAN I DO?
A: Unfortunately, tickets and wristbands cannot be replaced under any circumstances. Please keep your ticket safe!......
Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND?
A: All children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
Children under 12 months (under 1 year) old are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket......
Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO BRING A CAMPERVAN ETC?
A: As this is a temporary site, we cannot accept campervans, caravans mini buses, buses or similar. The nearest sites accepting these are Witches Craig Caravan & Camping Park
(Blairlogie, Stirling, Scotland, FK9 5PX) or The Blair Drummond Caravan Park (Cuthil Brae, Stirling FK9 4UP)......
Q: WHAT FACILITIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE CAMP SITE?
A: Toilet facilities with running water, water points, first aid facilities, camping welfare office, shop for campsite pass holders......
Q: WILL THERE BE SECURITY?
A: We will have enhanced security in the arena and at the on site campsite 24 hours a day to ensure your safety & wellbeing.
Please be aware that at present we are using enhanced security and we would respectively ask you to cooperate fully with our safety teams, security and police, and allow extra time to gain entry to all areas of Runrig: The Last Dance.....
Q: WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE ARENA?
A: Wheelchairs, mobility scooters, pushchairs, walking sticks, blankets, people requiring assistance on crutches are all permissible into the venue.
We also allow patrons to bring 1 UNOPENED 500ml bottled water......
Q: ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING FOOD, DRINK, CHAIRS, TENTS OR UMBRELLAS?
A: In accordance with licencing none of the items above are allowed in the venue. NO bags larger than A4 size are allowed in the concert arena.
Full bar and a variety of catering facilities meeting all dietary needs will be available at each show......
Q: CAN I TAKE MY OWN ALCOHOL INTO THE ARENA?
A: Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the arena as we have arranged some awesome bars for you to drink from.....
Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL INTO THE CAMPSITE?
A: We allow weekend campers to bring a reasonable amount of alcohol onto the campsite, for consumption ONLY inside the campsite area (enough for one person to consume), however no glass is allowed in to the campsite or the main arena at all......
Q: IS GLASS ALLOWED IN THE ARENA, OR CAMPSITE?
A: No, your bags (no larger than A4 size in the concert arena) will be searched on entry, no glass is allowed anywhere on site including the camp site......
Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD & DRINK INTO THE ARENA?
A: No, but we will have a wide selection of food and drink available for you to purchase from our Village area!
People with specific dietary needs for diabetes etc, please bring a note and present this to the senior stewards at the event entrance......
Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD & DRINK INTO THE CAMPSITE?
A: Yes, you can take your own food and drink into the camp site – but please note that you will not be able to take this into the arena. No glass containers or bottles are allowed within the arena or campsite.....
Q: CAN I COOK IN THE CAMPSITE?
A: You are permitted to cook solely within the designated areas within the campsite only using charcoal BBQ's or small butane gas camping stoves (single burner, gas cylinder of less than 5kg) only; portable BBQ's should ONLY be used in the cooking area, NOT in tents or outwith this designed area.
Campfires shall NOT be permitted; strictly NO campfires
No heating or cooking appliance is to be installed inside a tent/canvas.......
Q: CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
A: No professional cameras or cameras with zoom lense are allowed into the arena.....
Q: WHAT TIMES DO GATES OPEN?
A: On Friday & Saturday, gates open to the concert arena at 3pm.
Please note that queuing is not allowed more than 2 hours prior to gates opening.

Donnie Munro & Band - 5:30pm
Julie Fowlis - 6:20pm
Runrig - 7:30pm
Show is due to finish: approx. 11pm
Guests are responsible for the security of all of personal belongings.
Ticket holders who leave the venue will not be permitted to re-enter the venue......
Q: WILL THERE BE A CASH MACHINE AVAILABLE TO USE AT THE EVENT?
A: Please note that NO cash machines are available on site......
Q: DO THE VENDORS ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD?
A: Some vendors may accept payment by credit/debit card, please note that all bars are CASH only.....
Q: IS THERE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE?
A: On site Car Parks are Sold Out. Only persons with car park concert tickets will be allowed into the car parks. There are three types of parking tickets:
Friday only car parking tickets - Sold Out Opens 1pm
Saturday only car parking tickets - Sold Out Opens 1pm
Weekend camping car park tickets - Sold Out Opens Friday 10am
Disabled Blue Badge car park - no tickets are required, please present your valid blue badge on arrival and you will be directed to the disabled parking area.
All on site car park tickets are now Sold Out and tickets are not be available to purchase on the day of each concert.
Car Parking is available in Stirling City Centre

Q: IF IT RAINS, WILL THE CONCERT STILL GO AHEAD?
A: Yes, concerts are only ever cancelled due to the weather conditions if conditions become dangerous......
Q: CAN I BUY OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE?
A: Yes, we will be selling a wide range of merchandise at The Last Dance......
Remember the do's:
Do have your ticket with you at all times..
Do arrive in good time prior to the commencement of the concert..
Do allow ample time to take advantage of the toilet facilities..
Do bring clothing suitable for all weather conditions..
Do put any rubbish in bins provided for you..
Do look for official merchandise and concession outlets - all located within the arena..
Do consider others when moving around the arena..
Do consider local residents when entering and exiting the arena..
Do tune into local media for traffic updates....
Remember the don'ts:
Do not bring umbrellas into the arena
Do not smoke outside of the designated smoking areas
Do not bring drink or food into the concert arena
Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle
Do not bring folding chairs etc into the arena
Do not bring bags larger than A4 size into the concert arena
Please be aware that roads in and around Stirling are expected to be very busy on both days of the concert. You should allow plent of time to tracel to the site and make you way to the venue, car parks etc.
The organisers or their partners cannot be help responsible for delays getting to the venue or getting out of the venue.
Please follow signs and instructions from Police and safety stewards.
