Imagine a bluesy Lou Reed and you're half way there." - Glasgow Living

Andy McBride is a songwriter originally from Glasgow, Scotland. Starting in early 2014 under the previous moniker of 'Panic Anchor' quickly became a mainstay of the local and national songwriter scene. Now playing under his own name 2018 is set for a debut full record and a heavy touring schedule to support the release later in the year.

Comparisons are often made to Springsteen, Waits and Earle but always within his own Glasgwegian growl - a truly original voice that can soar to the height of a howl then instantly drop to a raspy whisper. A ferocious performer who prioritises playing live shows above all - an experience to remember.

Andy has toured Europe extensively already including many self funded UK and European tours, festivals and other appearances. Andy has also completed national support tours including an 18 show German support tour for 13 Crowes in November 2017.

MICK HARGAN

MICK HARGAN MAKES HIS FIRST FULL SHOW RETURN TO THE STAGE AFTER 18 WEEKS FOLLOWING THE CANCELLATION OF A EUROPEAN AND US TOUR DUE TO ILL HEALTH

Hargan is of typical blue collar working class stock, noted for his reputation as being the hardest working man in the room constantly touring worldwide. He also books some 80 odd acts a week in his hometown of Glasgow showcasing all ages showcases for young and old musicians alike.

Drawing on inspiration from artists and bands like Bruce Springsteen - Pearl Jam - Gaslight Anthemand The Frames , He also gets inspiration from every day people grinding and hustling every day life.

After The release of his 1st Record ‘Conversations Between Us ‘ Hargan toured the record over Europe and North America making radio and TV appearances

After a few years of promoting the record andtouring he became a father and increasingly became disillusioned with the politics and lack of funds available to move forward .

Subsequently and happily gave it up and went back to the building sites of Scotland

A return to action followed years later when he decided following the recessions that he would return to music and make his own luck and not rely on anyone else but himself

In 2015 he recorded the Raw album ‘45’ inspired by the state of the country and the Scottish independence referendum of which he was a supporter of the Yes Campaign.

He will be touring through 2018 through Europe and North America in June And July including headline dates in Glasgow, London, Reykjavik, Chicago, NYC, Boston, Laos Angeles, Las Vegas.
