We are very excited about our upcoming Birthday Bash, happening at the brewery on Saturday 21st September. All the details you need are below.
WHERE AND WHEN
At Belhaven Brewery, Dunbar
Doors open 11am; first bands on stage 12 noon; final act finishes 21:00, site closes 22:00.
GETTING THERE - AND GETTING HOME
There will be NO PARKING at or near the brewery on September 21st and 22nd. There is an excellent train service to Dunbar and we will have shuttle buses to and from the railway station. We will be arranging off-site parking and will have shuttle buses from there too. Check back here and follow our social media @BelhavenBrews for the details on this.
The brewery is also close to the X7 bus route to and from Edinburgh.
You're good people so I know you won't be thinking about drinking and driving. Have a designated driver (try rock paper scissors), take a taxi or public transport.
Please do plan your journey away from the brewery at the end of the night - it might be hard to arrange at 9.30 on Saturday night when everyone else is leaving too.
Dunbar is a lovely harbour town with beautiful beaches and plenty to do, so if you don't live here you might make a weekend of it! There are a variety of hotels and camping options in or near Dunbar.
EATING AND DRINKING
As it's a celebration of our 300th birthday, we're hoping you'll join us in raising a beer. We'll have a paying bar which will be operate a strict Challenge 25 policy - so remember your ID if you're lucky enough to be young or young-looking.
There will be food available for sale on the site.
You won’t be able to bring liquids in with you, though empty bottles are fine and there will be water points where you can fill them.
Bags may be searched on the way in.
Please don't bring big bags. Small bags are fine but will be searched on your way in. Don't overdo it on the beers and don't be causing trouble or our security staff will have to ask you to leave.
Suncreen? Fleece? Shades? Wooly hat? It's an outdoor event and, while Dunbar is reputed to be the sunniest place on the Scottish mainland, that in itself is not a 100% guarantee of sunshine. So please come dressed for the weather, whatever it is.
On the plus-side, most of the site is on hard standing so you'll probably get away without your wellies.
QUESTIONS? QUERIES? COMMENTS?
