Crimes Of The Future w/ Plaid (live)

Innovators, pioneers & several other monikers are/could be used
to describe Plaid's contribution in forming the UK's own distinct
Electronic sound. Along with other contemporaries on the mighty Warp
label such as B12, Aphex Twin & Autechre they forged a sound & way
forward for the likes of Boards Of Canada, Broadcast & such labels as
Skam Records, New Electronica (Beechwood Music) way too many more independent vinyl labels too mention.

Bjork recognized the talent/potential when she was one of he biggest female artists going & invited the boys to write produce & join her on tour.

Of course they were also Black Dog in an earlier incarnation & this is
another massive contribution towards the sound of early UK
Electronica. Plaid have never stood still & their sound along with the
creative visual arm of later years is still breaking new ground so
this is no nostalgia trip. Tickets have been moving since the turn of
Jan, which is a great indication of Glasgow/Scotland's on going
affection for Plaid.

Keen vinyl enthusiasts keep an eye open for Tim's debut long player with Andrew Weartherall as The Asphodells 'Ruled By Passion, Destroyed By Lust'. You can buy cd & download of course but if its vinyl you seek be quick as only 1000 will be around.
